We play an active role in our local community too, hosting regular events with schools, local groups and team members that live in the surrounding areas of Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire.

Attractively decorated and furnished, Castlemead Court is a beautifully designed home which supports independence and provides a variety of living spaces which enable residents to choose how to spend their time.
As a family-run home, we’re proud of the close-knit community we’ve created, with interiors that feature small details to aid memory, promote orientation and prompt conversation with fellow residents and visitors.
We encourage all of the residents to plan their own days and choose what they want to do, in each day’s events and activities whenever they want.
The spacious bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms for privacy and independence. We encourage residents to personalise their space with treasured photographs, bedding, ornaments and small items of furniture to create a familiar, homely environment.
Bright and airy, the communal lounges and library are welcoming and friendly spaces that we use for all sorts of different activities and events, and are flexible enough to accommodate exercise classes, arts sessions and quiet time when residents can doze off or catch up on their favourite books.
Mealtimes are an enjoyable, social experience in one of our attractive dining rooms and we make sure they are always a high point of the day. We offer a variety of menu options for residents to choose from, as well as different areas to dine in. Prepared by award-winning chefs, the tasty, traditional, home-cooked food is designed to the residents’ dietary needs and taste preferences, with special requests always catered for!
Taking a stroll through our lovely, leafy grounds is a joy and our wheelchair-accessible trail paths guide residents and visitors through landscaped gardens, passing the large pond and its abundance of wildlife. During the warmer months, raised borders and planters provide an opportunity for our keen gardeners to continue their passion with some residents growing their own produce.

Focusing on family, friends and fun
Friendships, both old and new, are encouraged and supported at Castlemead Court, and we extend a warm invitation to families and friends to join us at any time.
We welcome friends and family to share a meal with their loved ones or enjoy a chat and homemade refreshments in one of our many comfortable communal areas. Toys for visiting grandchildren are also provided and a big fuss is made over any visiting furry friends.
New friendships flourish between residents as they enjoy a wide range of activities together, designed to add variety to each and every day. Our Lifestyle Coordinators encourage everyone to lead a fun and fulfilling life by joining in activities they love, as well as trying new things in a supportive atmosphere.
The activities on offer are wide-ranging and include creative arts and craft workshops, quiz and bingo nights and movie afternoons with popcorn on tap. We encourage mobility and flexibility too, running lively and fun exercise classes to music and chair-based sessions for the less agile. Residents also love the pampering sessions in our beauty salon, where hair and nail treatments are provided.
Not only do we arrange for an array of singers and musicians to visit and entertain us, but we welcome visits from local schools, volunteers and community groups to bring additional opportunities for sharing stories, chatting and laughter.

Castlemead Court is located in Newport Pagnell on the northern outskirts of Milton Keynes. The town centre is within walking distance and has an impressive selection of high-street shops. Central Milton Keynes is a 10-minute drive with a much wider range of shopping, pharmacies, banks and other facilities.
The nearest motorway is the M1, a 5-minute drive away, while the A5 is just 10 minutes in the car. Wolverton railway station is a 10-minute drive away, and public transport is easily accessible from the bus stop outside of the care home. Services run every 15 minutes and stop all over Milton Keynes, including the shopping centre and station.
Newport Pagnell is a historic town, famous for a number of attractions: the Aston Martin factory, the only working parchment factory in the UK and the oldest working iron bridge in the world. Further afield is Willen Lake, the Peace Pagoda and the Milton Keynes Museum, as well as the home of the code breakers, Bletchley Park.
