Wellbeing

At the heart of everything we do, ensuring the wellbeing of each individual we support remains our unwavering priority. Our commitment to this purpose is reflected in our person-centred care approach. We take the time to truly connect with each person who lives in our care homes, or receives visits from our Homecare team- embracing them not only for who they are today, but also celebrating their unique life journey, connections to their community, and cherished relationships with family and friends. With heartfelt dedication, our teams strive to create meaningful moments every day, creating smiles and special memories to cherish forever.

Quality of life

We take a holistic approach to care to help people to enjoy a great quality of life. Our warm and friendly team members treat everyone as members of their own family. We learn about each person’s likes, dislikes and individual needs to create a life they love.

Environment

We understand the importance of a homely environment on a person’s overall wellbeing. That's why, in our care homes, we prioritise creating a warm, friendly, and home-like atmosphere.

Our dedicated hospitality teams work diligently to make sure that people truly feel a sense of belonging. We firmly believe that fostering this sense of home-comfort is essential for enhancing overall quality of life and wellbeing.

Mealtimes

Mealtimes are an enjoyable and social experience in our homes. We don't believe in corporate menus. Our chefs spend time getting to know people, and will work with the people who live in our care homes to create menus full of tasty, nutritious, home cooked food. There are always different daily options to choose from, with alternatives available. We cater for all preferences, dietary requirements, and religious beliefs.

Types of care

Our teams provide a range of residential, nursing, dementia, respite, end-of-life and day care. Offering a number of care types means we can meet people’s needs as they change over time. This gives people continuity with their care and often means they don’t have to move home if their needs change over time.

We also have a homecare service for those who want to remain living at home but need some extra support. Our registered homecare branch provides care and support to a variety of clients of all ages living within the London borough of Tower Hamlets.

This is the best home I have visited

The residents are always treated well

During the time I have been a volunteer, I have been impressed by the range of activities provided for the residents. The residents are always treated well, and their dignity is always paramount. The staff are attentive and know the residents in their care. In my role as a church visitor, this is the best home I have visited.

A warm welcome.

Grateful thanks to all staff.

I was extremely welcomed by all the staff as soon as I arrived. My ensuite room has plenty of storage and is cleaned every day. The activities provided, and which I have been able to join in, have all been most enjoyable. I have also had the opportunity to join in services and other activities at my church, which I greatly appreciate.

Nothing is too much trouble.

The facilities are excellent and the staff are brilliant.

As soon as I contacted the manager for assistance in finding somewhere for my cousin, she couldn't have been more helpful. Within a week, my cousin was out of hospital and settled in her new room. The facilities are excellent and the staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. The activities are great with such a variety of things for them to do, and my cousin is happy and very comfortable in her new home.
