Dovecote Manor provides 41 en-suite bedrooms, with a staff team who are fully committed to involving individuals to live life to the full inside and outside the home. We aim to deliver ‘person centered’ care to everyone.
We work hard to maintain the friendly, homely environment and stimulate the lives of everyone who lives here. For example, we have a very flexible pet’s policy – currently we have Fred the Cat and everyone enjoys the interaction they have with Fred.

“In July 2012 my father got a placement at Dovecote, what a blessing.
“The carers are carers in the true sense of the word, whether you are there visiting or not they care for the clients in the same way and manner in which we as a family did previously. In fact that in itself can be difficult to accept but for the caring nature of everyone concerned, they become your extended family.
“I had many sleepless nights regarding my father’s care until the day he arrived at Dovecote, the carers went as typical the extra mile and for the first time in 6 months I was able to sit at a table and share a meal with my father, what a memory I will treasure.”
SP Relative (daughter)
“Dovecote has “open house “ and family and friends can visit as often and when they like the home is well run with all staff being friendly and professional .
“I couldn’t be happier knowing that my Mum is being so cared for by the staff and management of this lovely home .”
