The people living at Glennfield Care Home were recently invited to a community fundraising bingo night at the local village hall in Walkosen. The event was hosted by W. Bailey & Sons in conjunction with Robs Bingo to raise funds for two local care homes, supporting the people who live and work there.
Guests enjoyed ten exciting games of bingo as well as several flyer games, which made for an exciting variety that kept everyone entertained. Additionally, there was a fantastic array of prizes up for grabs in the raffle, which alongside the refreshments and generous donations from local businesses, contributed to a very successful and enjoyable evening.
As the games continued, there was tension in the air as players came close to winning lines and full houses on their bingo cards; cheers, laughter, and anticipation filled the room throughout the night.
The event was organised not only as a fundraiser, but also as an opportunity to strengthen community connections and create memorable moments for local people. Bringing the community together in this way showcased their shared commitment to supporting the people who live at Glennfield, and their desire create lasting memories and enriching experiences for residents.
Relatives and friends of Glennfield who attended shared how much they enjoyed the evening, commenting on both the fantastic atmosphere and the incredible amount raised for the two homes.
The team at Glennfield would like to thank W. Bailey & Sons and Robs Bingo as well as everyone who attended, supported, donated prizes, and helped make the fundraising evening such a great success. Thanks to the generosity and support of the local community, they raised a total of £555 for Glennfield Care Home, which will help to provide meaningful activities and experiences for the people who live there.
