Today marks the launch of our second edition of The Excelcare Voice, a magazine aimed at updating residents and relatives about the most recent news across the group. Following the success of our spring edition earlier this year, this summer edition looks back on life across group from May until September and showcases different events and activities that were possible over the course of these sunny months.
This newsletter has been printed and distributed as physical copies, so that the people living in our homes and their loved ones can pick up a copy, have a read and try their hands at the puzzles inside. This will also provide an opportunity for the people living and working in each Excelcare home to see what other homes within the group have been up to, creating the possibility of more connections and friendships being made between the homes. We have also released this edition digitally so members of the community and online audiences can stay up to date with the latest news.
The issue also contains ‘shout-outs’ to special team members who have done extraordinary things, as well as information about our new monthly dementia webinars, mission to be 80% paperless by 2025. Games and puzzles also feature in the magazine, with prizes available for those who successfully complete and submit them.
The Excelcare Voice is released quarterly, so relatives, residents and those considering care for themselves or their loved ones, can stay up to date with goings-on across the group and get a glimpse into life at Excelcare homes. Coming soon is the Autumn Issue, which will be the ‘Excelcare Team Special’ and explore the special people who work in our care homes.
