This week we launched a wellbeing wish initiative across the Excelcare family in aid of Mental Health Awareness Week.
The initiative, called ‘make a wellbeing wish’, will take place in all Excelcare homes and our support office. Each home has been sent its own wellbeing post box and some blank wish cards to display in reception, which team members can fill in to make their own ‘wellbeing wish’.
On each card, team members are asked, ‘If I had a spare amount of cash (up to the value of £100) to spend on me or my family, I would use it to…’. Team members will then write down wishes onto the cards and post them in the wish box. If their card is then chosen at the end of the month, their wish will be granted!
After lots of challenges and changes throughout the pandemic, the aim of this campaign is to boost wellbeing amongst our team and in the process, thank them for everything they have done and continue to do.
This campaign is just one of the initiatives across the Excelcare family that aims to improve personal wellbeing. Ensuring our caring teams are also cared for is a priority across the group, so we hope these wishes help to raise smiles across the family.
Watch this space throughout the year to see some of the wishes this initiative helps to bring to life across the family.
