It’s award season in the care sector and we’re delighted to announce that many of our outstanding team members have been nominated for awards.
Although all of our team members deserve awards for the incredible work they do on a daily basis, these people have achieved something particularly outstanding, which has been recognised by their colleagues and the panels of awards judges.
We are delighted to announce the people listed below have been nominated and shortlisted for awards this year.
Amongst the award nominees is our Chief Operating Officer, Sam Manning, who is up for a Lifetime Achievement Award. This is a particularly special achievement, as it is an award that recognises long service in the care sector and the incredible things a person has achieved throughout their career. Sam's journey is certainly a unique one, so we would like to share a short snippet with you to a paint a picture of why she is truly deserving of this award.
With a remarkable journey that began as a Care Home Administrator at Excelcare in December 1993, Sam Manning has wholeheartedly devoted herself to the Excelcare family over the past three decades, playing an integral role in shaping Excelcare into the organisation it is today.
Sam’s dedication to fostering a sense of family, kindness, love, and support is palpable in her role as COO, where she has not only led the company but also touched hearts and minds across our vast workforce. Sam's motto, 'We are Family,' resonates in all her daily endeavours, defining her as a true luminary at Excelcare.
