Since the Coronavirus outbreak, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has become more important. This has put an increased demand on suppliers to match the needs of the NHS and wider society.
To ensure team members at Exclecare have access to the correct personal protective equipment, plea's were put out on social media, asking for PPE donations from anyone who could help.
The support has been felt across the group and people in the surrounding communities have responded with kind donations, so team members can continue their roles confidently, in the knowledge that they are safe.
Alex Neal is a Cambridgeshire based man, who has been supporting key workers with donations of hand-made protective equipment. He has a dedicated Facebook page, which he uses to reach out to people in need and arrange contactless deliveries of the equipment.
He recently reached out to Glennfield Care Home and offered the team a superhero support package of face shields and ear protectors. The team were very grateful and when he stopped by to make the delivery, were posed ready for the superhero package.
Alex is one of the many people going above and beyond to support key workers and the most vulnerable in society, so to us, you're the real superheroes.
Today we announced Rainbow thankyou banners are on display at each of our homes, so to our extended family that have supported us, we hope these provide some gratitude for all you've done.
