The people living at Windmill Care Home in London recently enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of singing and dancing.
The team at the home know just how much the residents love to enjoy some music, so they organised a Motown concert in the garden for everyone. Motown is a popular genre among the people living at Windmill, so the team knew that a Motown concert would be incredibly popular and appreciated.
The sky was blue, and the sun was shining, and everybody went outside with a smile on their face, ready to listen to some great music. The music played loudly while everybody had a boogie, singing along to the songs and putting in their own specific requests.
There was so much happiness and laughter as everyone danced, and the team said it was incredibly heart-warming to see. The people living at Windmill have developed such a strong bond, and as they were dancing it was clear just how much they all care about each other.
The team plan to organise more activities like this, as it put everyone in such a fantastic mood. The garden was full of love and light, and it was a true depiction of the Windmill family.
