During this Coronavirus Pandemic, Excelcare has been overwhelmed with generosity by local businesses and individuals in the community.
People have pulled together to support the most vulnerable and those caring for them, which has been felt by all of our care homes in the group. Flowers, bread, pizza, milk, toiletries and games are just some of the things people have donated to help out and keep the residents in good spirits.
To thank those who have been so helpful during this period, the central team at head office sent blank thankyou cards to each of the homes, that they could write in to thank their local businesses and support functions. These thank you cards were also donated, but by the group printing supplier Hakka Design - yet another example of the overwhelming support we have received.
When the residents at Primrose Croft heard about this, they were all keen to share some kind words with the people who have helped. So as well as sending these group made thank you cards, the residents wanted to make their own to show some personal appreciation.
Using a rainbow theme, the residents created a colourful thank you card, with a message inside that read, " We would like to say a very big thank you from Primrose Croft, for your kind donation and support we have received in this difficult time. It all does make a difference, THANK YOU!"
The residents were really happy with what they created and being able to thank these special people certainly boosted wellbeing around the home.
The cards are now on their way to local people and businesses who have supported Primrose Croft - we hope they arrive safely and show how much we appreciate you all!
