London Regional Team
Josephine Tenwick – Regional Head of Quality & Development
Josie began her career in the care sector as a care assistant in 1991. In 1992 she attended the University of Brighton and graduated in 1995 with a BA Hons in Social Policy and Administration. During her university years she continued to work as a Care Assistant, deciding on graduating that nursing was the career path she wanted to follow. Josie trained as a nurse in 1997 at the University of Nottingham and worked in various different roles within the NHS, including general medicine, A&E and ITU. Josie left the NHS in 2005 and joined a care home as a Nurse Manager and then Registered Manager. Josie joined Excelcare in 2008. Since then she has undertaken various roles, including Development Manager and Regional Director. Her role as Head of Quality & Development is to drive high quality care from a best practice perspective and deliver improvement strategies.
Andrietta Jordaan – Regional Quality & Development Manager
Andrietta Jordaan joined Excelcare as the London region Head of Care in January 2017 with a wide variety of 25 years of nursing experience. Andrietta is a Registered Nurse, with a Diploma in Mental Health, Midwifery and Community nursing. She is also a trained clinical interviewer. Andrietta combines her passion for care with a real understanding of the challenges – she has been a manager in the National Health Service (NHS) and independent healthcare sector for over 12 years working across primary and acute care.
Molly Maenzanise – Regional Quality & Development Manager
Molly Maenzanise joined Excel Care in March 2019 as a Regional Quality and Development Manager for London. Molly is an Adult Registered Nurse and qualified in 2006 at London South Bank University. She has worked in several hospitals as a Nurse and was also hospital Matron for two NHS Community Hospitals and Acute Medicine Matron for Frailty and Stroke in Kent. Molly has also worked in clinical governance as a Quality Improvement Manager for a Community health provider in Kent and in Service development. Molly had previously worked in several homes in London as a Care Assistant/Support Worker whilst training to be a nurse.
Tanya Coles – Regional Quality & Development Manager
Louise Bouthemy – Regional Quality and Risk Manager
Louise joined Excelcare in 2010 in a secretarial capacity and has since developed into various management and support roles. Louise has worked as a Domiciliary Branch Manager, Regulations Manager and Head of Business Support.
In her current role, Louise works with the London Regional Team as a Regional Quality & Risk Manager, whereby she supports service risk, operations and quality care. Louise is passionate about advocating for the very best outcomes for the residents and thoroughly enjoys being a part of the Excelcare family.
Joselo Silva – Regional Quality & Development Manager
Joselo started with Excelcare in March 2019 as a Regional Quality and Development Manager for London. Joselo is a registered nurse where he graduated from the Philippines in March of 1995 and continued with this professional degree at City University in 2006. Joselo has worked in Hospital settings which include working as a nurse in charge and a 30 bedded medical and surgical unit.
Stephanie Kealey – Regional Recruitment Lead
Steven Robson – Regional Trainer
Regional Trainer Steven joined Excelcare in April 2019 as London’s Regional Trainer. Steven started working in the Care Industry in 2010 as a Support Worker in a Residential home for young adults at a charity called Young Epilepsy. Steven then moved over to being a Support Worker in a School when he later moved to working as a Support Worker in the College.
Steven qualified as a College Lecturer in 2015 and moved into training later on in that year. Steven has experience in teaching care staff who work in Residential, Supported living and Domiciliary settings.
Tahir Butt – Maintenance Manager
Tahir joined Excelcare in 2018 and is responsible for planning and implementing preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, installation and modification of building construction and repair in an efficient and timely manner through effective management and utilisation of the Maintenance Department. He is responsible for maintaining and initiating all health, safety and environmental standards, managing projects within budget and deadlines, maintenance of production equipment to support manufacturing and overseeing the training and development needs of the maintenance team members. Prior to this, Tahir worked as a Contractor for fifteen years, has a degree in Economics and Education and is a qualified Gas Engineer.
Lorna Ann Thomas – Regional Business Administration Manager
Lorna has worked in the care sector for almost 14 years, primarily in local government health and social care. She has previously worked as Compliance and Governance Lead Monitoring Officer at Excelcare to support service delivery and improvement in the London region. Lorna’s current role is to lead on administration for the regional team and provide support to administrators working within all London Excelcare homes.
