London Regional Team
Geraldine Finney – Regional Director
Geraldine Finney joined Excelcare in 2006 and is the Regional Director for the 7 London homes. She is a Registered Nurse and Health Visitor, with a Degree in Social Policy and Administration and a Diploma in Management.
Following a career in the NHS for 25 years, with 10 years at senior management level, Geraldine spent a years sabbatical in Berlin.
After five years setting up and running a nursing home in the Isles of Scilly, Geraldine returned to London.
Yvette Owens – Development Manager
Yvette was appointed as Development Manager in 2013. She has nine years experience working in Excelcare as a Home Manager. Previous experience includes working within the NHS for 19 years. She has been caring for older people and people living with dementia for 18 years.
Yvette is a Registered Nurse , Moving and Handling Trainer , NVQ Assessor and has a degree in management.
Angela is a registered nurse, with a wide variety of experience, both within the NHS and in our company.
She worked in one of our homes as a nurse, then a team leader, then as care manager.
She was appointed to the regional team as development manager in January 2016,
demonstrating the career pathways available within the company.
She is currently completing a course leading to a level 5 qualification in management and leadership.
Sezen Cafer – Regional Coordinator
Sezen Cafer was appointed as Regional Coordinator for the London region in 2006. After starting her career as Office Administrator, Sezen has worked for Excelcare for over eleven years and built her experience across various departments including specialist projects, facilities, maintenance, purchasing and home administration.
Sezen holds an NVQ 3 in Business Management, Business Administration, as well as an NVQ 2 in Business Studies.
Natasha Niyazi – Regional Coordinator
Natasha Niyazi was appointed as Regional Co-ordinator for the London Region in 2009, and has vast administration experience in both clinical and care home environments. Adding to her experience, she holds an NVQ 3 in Business Administration and a Diploma in Business Administration and Secretarial Procedures. She began her career as an office administrator and worked her way up to PA level, before eventually settling at Excelcare.
