Sandra Bensley – Regional Director

Regional Director. A General Nurse and Mental Health nurse by background, Sandra has many years’ experience in the operational and clinical field.

She has worked both in the NHS and at a senior level for a number of large providers.  Sandra has extensive experience of leading operational teams to provide the highest quality of care for residents and also has worked successfully for many years in partnership with regulators and local professional bodies.

Yvette OwensYvette Owens – Development Manager

Yvette was appointed as Development Manager in 2013. She has nine years experience working in Excelcare as a Home Manager. Previous experience includes working within the NHS for 19 years. She has been caring for older people and people living with dementia for 18 years.

Yvette is a Registered Nurse , Moving and Handling Trainer , NVQ Assessor and has a degree in management.


AngelaEtienne_jpgAngela Etienne – Development Manager

Angela is a registered nurse, with a wide variety of experience, both within the NHS and in our company.

She worked in one of our homes as a nurse, then a team leader, then as care manager.

She was appointed to the regional team as development manager in January 2016, demonstrating the career pathways available within the company.

She is currently completing a course leading to a level 5 qualification in management and leadership.

 Andrietta Jordaan Andrietta Jordaan – Head of Care

Andrietta Jordaan joined Excelcare as the London region Head of Care in January 2017 with a wide variety of 25 years of nursing experience. Andrietta is a Registered Nurse, with a Diploma in Mental Health, Midwifery and Community nursing. She is also a trained clinical interviewer. Andrietta combines her passion for care with a real understanding of the challenges – she has been a manager in the National Health Service (NHS) and independent healthcare sector for over 12 years working across primary and acute care.


Natasha Niyazi – Regional Coordinator

Natasha Niyazi was appointed as Regional Co-ordinator for the London Region in 2009, and has vast administration experience in both clinical and care home environments. Adding to her experience, she holds an NVQ 3 in Business Administration and a Diploma in Business Administration and Secretarial Procedures. She began her career as an office administrator and worked her way up to PA level, before eventually settling at Excelcare.
