Louise Jones – Regional Operations Director
Louise Jones trained as a general nurse back in the late eighties but has worked predominantly in elderly care for over 22 years in various roles from Healthcare assistant to Home Manager. Louise has worked with Excelcare since they came to Cambridgeshire in 2001 and has been the Regional Director for over 15 years. Louise has completed an Apprenticeship Level 5, in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care
Caroline Goddard – Head Of Care
Caroline began her career in the care sector back in 1992 as a volunteer in her local care home, leading to a Care Assistants role shortly afterwards. She then went onto work as an administrator and a Care Manager within Local Government and PCT for the Older People’s Team.
Caroline has attained NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care Award, NVQ Level 4 Administration Award, OU Management Qualification which lead her to achieve Assistant Locality Manager role within the PCT culminating in a Home Managers post.
Caroline has also completed her Registered Managers Award along with PTTL’s Level 4 to assist with a previous training/tutoring role as Apprenticeship and Diploma Assessor at levels 2, 3 and 5.
Caroline has worked and assessed in a variety of health and social care environments including hospitals, learning disability establishments, homeless shelters, mental health/drug and alcohol dependency schemes and care homes including extra care facilities for people with dementia and neurological rehabilitation.
Debbie Holman – Head Of Care
Debbie joined the Regional Team as a Development Manager in January 2016 and previously worked at Hunters Down as the General Manager. Debbie is a qualified Nurse and has always specialised in care for the Elderly. She has worked in the acute sector as well as the private sector and has a very broad knowledge base and experience. Her past experiences have been in acute Medicine, Trauma/Orthopaedics, Urology, Intermediate care (rehab), Discharge Planning and Specialist Continuing Healthcare.
Mary Witten – Head Of Care
Mary joined Excelcare as Head of Care in September 2016. Mary has been a qualified Nurse for many years and has worked across the care sectors, both in the NHS and in Social Care where she attained a Management qualification and a Diploma in Nursing. Her experience covers Acute Medicine, Emergency Care, District Nursing, Cardio-thoracic and Cardiology Nursing and over the past 10 years has worked as a Specialist Nurse in Continuing Healthcare.
The above has lead Mary to gain a broad knowledge and experience, particularly with care for older people.
Joanne King – Regional Sales & Marketing Manager
Joanne has worked for Excelcare since 2004. Joanne started her career with Excelcare as a Home Administrator, then became a Regional Coordinator in 2007 and has since taken the role of Regional Sales and Marketing Manager. Joanne has various qualifications in Business and Administration and also Management with the last qualification completed being the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
Vanessa Dodd – Regional Head of Administration
Vanessa started her career in care in the mid 80’s and has had various roles from a Care Assistant to Assistant Manager. Vanessa transferred to Excelcare in 2001 as an Administrator and has been Regional Administrator for over 10 years. Vanessa has an NVQ level 3 in Business and Administration.
Carlos Camoira – Regional Estates & Facilities Manager
I started working in maintenance at a young age and have a great passion for it. Through the years I have gained a lot of experience and put this into practice, working in many countries around the world.
I have worked for Excelcare since 2015. I started with the company as a Painter and Decorator for the Cambridge Region. I worked my way through the ranks of Maintenance Operative and Supervisor to become the Regional Estates & Facilities Manager.
