”I would just like to say how grateful we are as a family to have our Mother live within your terrific care centre. Our Mother was transferred last Monday to St Fillans from Colchester Hospital having been admitted there for a month following a fall. We are all so pleased and genuinely heartened by what we have heard and seen first-hand. All the staffs are professional, courteous and very person centred. The facilities are excellent you have a lovely therapeutic atmosphere. When we visit we are welcomed by smiling staff we are reassured that Mum is in the best of caring environments Well done all of you On behalf of the Weston family.”

”I would like to congratulate all the staff and carers for a fantastic street party. The atmosphere was great with staff and carers in their costumes and dresses. The singer was very good and you could see the residents enjoyed it, singing along and waving their union Jacks. I thought the choice of food was great because it was the of goof most of the residents would of had back when they was younger. It made me think back when I was young and my mother cooked it for us. My wife has been at St. Fillans for over 3 years and it was the best day for the residents since she has been in there. Well done a Great effort by you all and a great day thank you.”

“As you know, we celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary and I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at St Fillans who helped to make it such an enjoyable day for us all.”

“The splendid cake baked by your chef was delicious and were especially grateful for
everything you did to make it such an enjoyable occasion for us.”

“My mother is a resident at the St Fillans Care Centre.
I live in North Yorkshire and telephone about 4 times a week to find out how she is and speak with her depending
on her condition.
I would like to compliment the receptionists at the centre, for the
charming and efficient way they deal with me. They are also very professional, nothing is too much trouble to find
my mother or a carer to speak with.
I hope you will pass my comments on to those concerned.

“Thank you for looking after my husband last week. I was able to recharge my batteries and know I was being well looked after. He said to me in the car on the way home – “well, if you ever want to do that again, it’s alright by me!” Well done to you all.”

“Just a short note to thank you all for the care and help you gave my mum during her stay with you. She was very happy at the home and liked all the staff involved in her care. Being at St Fillans made her happy.”

“Thank you so much for letting me stay at St. Fillans. The staff were very caring and everywhere very clean and food was good.”

“This is just to say a “big thank you” for the care, compassion and respect you gave to my late husband in his last remaining days. We can’t praise your home enough, you all deserve all the thanks you get; a bunch of wonderful staff”

“Thank you very much for all the care you gave my mother, especially over her period of illness. Also, thank you for the help and support you gave to us and our family. I will miss you all as I really felt like part of the team”

“In his 99th year my father was confined to his bed for the last 7 weeks, and we could not have wished for a better place for him to be. The priority was his comfort, dignity and constant love and attention from the nursing staff. We are grateful for the very high standard provided by St Fillans and Excel care in allowing him to depart from his life with the respect and dignity he deserved”

“We would just like to say a big thank you for all you have done for our relative. You gave him tender loving care in his last few weeks, for which we will always be grateful. All staff have been wonderful”
