“My Mother is in St. George’s where she has had an amazing standard of care for some time, including when she was there for rehab after a broken hip. It is an agonising decision to place one’s relative in a care home, and I investigated many in the area, finding St Georges the most cosy and homely, when she had to move for safety reasons. The staff do their very best under the most difficult of circumstances. I can visit any time I like, day or night, and always observe the same standard of care.”
“We are deeply grateful for the loving attentive care given to my mum at St. Georges during the two year she lived there. She enjoyed taking part in the various activities and we were able to go on several different trips together. She had a very good relationship with the former activities’ coordinator, along with many other members of staff at the home were always incredibly supportive and encouraging to me, for which I am really thankful.
Thank you again so much to all the staff at the home for everything you did to give my mum the best possible quality of life, as she journeyed through Alzheimer’s.”

“You’re always flexible enough to take my emergency patients and you always assess them punctually“
“It was a pleasure to work in partnership with the staff and management of St George’s Court so that we were able to rapidly adapt my client’s care plan and placement keeping him safe and avoiding a psychiatric admission. What was of real benefit was how my client was kept at the centre of the decision-making process even though he was acutely unwell meaning these revisions upheld the principles of recovery-centred practice. I know his family are grateful.”
AP Social Worker
“The staff are always very helpful and caring, they always make me feel welcome when I visit my sister. I’m very pleased with the way the staff look after my sister and for what they all do.”
“The staff I work with are lovely. We all work as a team and provide a homely atmosphere for the people we care for.”
“I love working at St Georges, developing staff and being able to work alongside them. The home has a warm and friendly environment.”
“I enjoy working as housekeeper at St Georges Court and enjoy joining in activities and making a difference to people’s life.”
