“I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you so much for all the kindness and care shown during his stay at Aliwal Manor.
We were all unsure how he would settle at first, but all the staff and other residents helped him feel at home, which was a huge relief, knowing he received the right care when he needed it the most.
Thank you so much.”
“I would like to place on record our thanks for the love and care with which you looked after my mother while she was at Aliwal Manor. I am sure she was not always the easiest person to look after, but in her more lucid moments she spoke highly of you all. I was lucky to be able to visit her frequently and was always struck by your willingness to speak to me about her even though you probably had a million other things to do. As you know she especially like the socials and entertainments, and it was these and other extra touches you contributed that made her feel at home at Aliwal.”
“I cannot thank you all enough for what you are doing.I would recommend this care home to everone.”
“We have always found the staff very helpful. and caring. My mother has always been clean and well looked after.”
“We were always made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were very kind and caring.”
“May i take this opportunity of thanking your company for the excellent care that was given. Many thanks to all involved.”
“The food & catering were excellent and both began to gain their proper weight. All their care needs were catered for in an excellent manner. I cannot fault the standard of care or the general atmosphere and cleanliness of the establishment.”
“During my relative’s stay with excelcare the staff have been fantastic. We cannot praise the staff and management enough for all they have done over the years. I know all staff will be greatly missed by all the family. My mum-in-law would have continued to live at Aliwal Manor if her care needs had not changed, as she had many happy years here. Thank You.”
“My whole family thank Aliwal Manor for the reassurance that a very old lady we love is being cared for so well in her declining years, something we acknowledge that we cannot do ourselves.”
“Knock on the door at any time and there is always a welcoming smile and any problems are usually worked out quickly and with care.”
“The smells from the kitchen are always delicious and the food always comes well presented and in generous portions. If anyone misses a meal for any reason, a snack is provided.”
“The surroundings are modern, bright and always being cleaned and tidied.”
“It felt very homely and all the staff were very friendly. It felt like the best place for my mother to be…This is where both her and me want her to be.”
“Although my mother was only in Aliwal Manor for a very short time, the service and care she received was excellent we could not have asked for more. Not only did they look after my Mum, but they always had time to look after us, her family. We will always be grateful”
“I would like to thank [the] care team, for their wonderful care and support they gave my Grandmother. Also the last few days of life they took great care of the whole family, nothing was ever too much. Once again many thanks. All the staff are so caring, this includes the cleaning and catering staff who also kept the family refreshed when needed”
